The conference will be a unique feature of Kere Habba 2019. Kere habba in its 5th edition is a sunrise to sunset event that is being conducted to celebrate the gorgeous kaikondrahalli lake, Sarjapur Road https://www.Facebook.Com/kaikondrahallilake/. it is an amalgamation of music, theatre, fitness, art, design and fun - all talking the same idiom of ecology and environment.
MAPSAS will lead and facilitate interactions across corporates, government organizations, NGOs and citizen groups/ community representatives and scientists/ecologists. The areas covered will be
Governance & administration
The objective is to arrive at a holistic and sustainable manner in which to engage with lakes in the long term. We would examine partnership models that have the power to transform and be a trend setter across lakes in Karnataka and the country.
MAPSAS is a "game changer" in the rejuvenation and maintenance of multiple lakes around Sarjapur area, in partnership with BBMP Lakes team. This has been accomplished through an inclusive process of building ownership for lake maintenance along with BBMP, corporates, community, scientists, ecologists and a large number of volunteers

Arati Kumar-Rao is an independent environmental photographer, writer, and artist documenting the slow violence* of ecological degradation.
Her work has appeared in NationalGeographic.org, The Hindu, #Dysturb, The Guardian, BBC Outside Source, Hindustan Times, Mint, National Geographic Traveler India, Yahoo! Media, Scroll.in, Quartz, and other Indian and international outlets. Arati contributes to @EverydayClimateChange and @EverydayExtinction on Instagram and has been exhibited in India and internationally. She was awarded a National Geographic Explorer grant in November 2018 to document forced human migration.

He currently runs a technology organisation called Daemon software and works in the field of Analytics, IOT and mobility applications. Daemon has partnered with a water rejuvenation consultancy called Symbio and they implement water monitoring restoration and rejuvenation platforms.
