MAPSAS, an acronym for Mahadevpura Parisara Samrakshane Mattu Abhivrudhi Samiti, is a not for profit registered Trust that was formed in 2011 to revive and rejuvenate lakes in the Bellandur ORR / Sarjapur Road / Harlur Road area.
Our top priority is to encourage biodiversity in and around the lake, engage the community to play anactive role protecting the lake as a thriving ecosystem, social justice thru livelihood creation from lakeand Accessibility to all.
As we come to the end of the year 2020, the Mapsas Team would like to share a few of the things that have occurred at our multiple lakes, Covid notwithstanding.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to those of you who have contributed financially to support our endeavors at protecting tour lakes.
Please find our quarterly newsletter here.
Financial contribution is key to the survival of our dwindling water bodies. Funds for maintenance of the water bodies (Keres) are sought through voluntary donations from individual donors, RWAs and through CSR engagement. The tax benefit on donation can be claimed under the section 80G. MAPSAS is FCRA certified so overseas donations too is permitted.
